ROMANIA, TIMISOARA, 20th July 2015
The relocation of the sluice has been completed. It is now opened to the public.
The project places the recovered sluice in a public space to showcase its true value, along with info panels and a viewing platform (located at a higher level then the square for a better perspective of the whole archaeological complex). This will allow visitors to discover the significance of the sluice and learn about the intricate process behind the project.
The relocation process of the archaeological artifact (which was discovered during the foundation works of the 5th building of CBC complex) has begun in november 2014 with the purpose of conserving the entire ensemble and its exhibition within a public open air museum.
